A woman who was walking in Central London has been killed in a horrific crash after a bus hit her.
The incident happened at around 12:40pm on Monday, March 7, on Margaret Street in the West End of Westminster.
Emergency services were called to the scene but despite their best efforts the woman was pronounced dead just after 1pm.
They remain at the scene of the incident and road closures are in place affecting nearby traffic.
