Live train updates as line suspended between Dartford and Greenwich after person ‘takes ill and trespasses on track’

Emergency services are dealing with an incident on the Southeastern line between Slade Green and Plumstead in South East London this morning (March 5).

The incident near the railway means trains are suspended between Greenwich and Dartford. Customers have been told to allow more time for their journey and delays are expected until 11:30am.

In a statement, Southeastern said: “Emergency services dealing with an Incident between Slade Green & Plumstead. Trains between Dartford and Greenwich are unable to run. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

“Due to emergency services dealing with an incident near the railway between Slade Green and Plumstead all lines are currently blocked. Trains running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed.

“Disruption is expected until approximately 11:30.”

The British Transport Police have been approached for comment.
