Nearly all London Underground lines remain either suspended or part suspended on Friday morning (March 4) following staff strikes on Thursday.
The strikes on Thursday were the second round of London Underground staff walkouts to take place this week after an earlier strike on Tuesday. Tube services were also affected on Wednesday despite strikes not being held on that day.
Commuters attempting to travel to work this morning will likewise see disruption to all London Underground lines except the Victoria line. London Overground, TfL rail and the DLR are also operating as normal.
The Central, Circle, District, Hammersmith and City, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Northern and Piccadilly lines are all currently suspended. The Bakerloo line is part suspended with no services between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone.

Although Transport for London hasn’t stated an exact time for when services will resume as normal, services are expected to reopen around mid-morning.
“On Friday morning Tube services will be severely disrupted while the service recovers from strike action by the RMT,” the TfL website says. “Normal services should be operating by mid-morning.”

TfL has also advised commuters looking to travel on Friday morning to delay their commute to later in the day where possible and allow longer for their journey. Meanwhile, the Northern line remains suspended between Moorgate and Kennington due to major upgrade works that will last until May.
Buses Route 733 continue to operate between Moorgate and Oval via Bank, London Bridge, Borough, Elephant & Castle and Kennington on Monday to Friday. Commuters could also take alternative routes via the London Underground network.
