A man was rushed to hospital with a head injury this morning (Thursday, March 3), after being found on a Finsbury Park street. Emergency Services were first called at 8.56am to reports of an injured man on Isledon Road.
Police and London Ambulance Service found a man with a head injury at the scene. He was rushed to a major trauma centre at a central London hospital as a priority. His condition currently remains unknown and emergency services are awaiting an update.
When the Met arrived at the scene, no other parties were present. Officers continue their investigations into how the man got injured, which has led to their putting a number of road closures in place.
The ongoing police incident in Finsbury Park has seen roads blocked, including the A503 Seven Sisters Road in the southbound direction, just after Finsbury Park Tube Station.
Reports on social media allege that the road is expected to be cordoned off for most of the day. This has not been confirmed by emergency services.
Slow traffic is being reported after Fonthill Road by Inrix traffic management system. It added that six bus routes are currently on diversion, including routes 4, 29, 153, 253, 254 and 259.
