Police have launched an urgent search for two teenage girls missing from Hertfordshire who have links to East London. Alicia, 15, and Miley, 13, are both currently missing from Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
Both girls have links to Romford and Havering in East London. The Havering branch of the Metropolitan Police tweeted in support of its colleagues in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.
It wrote on Twitter: “MISSING GIRLS| Can you help our @Hertspolice colleagues find Alicia, 15 and Miley 13 who are missing from #Broxbourne? They have links to #Romford #Havering.
“If you have information please 101 quoting ISR30/2MAR. http://ow.ly/Iacj50I88UE .”

Broxbourne Police posted: Have you seen #missing Alicia, 15, and Miley, 13, from #Broxbourne? They were last seen yesterday. They sometimes frequent the #Romford area.
“If you have seen them: Call 101. If you are with them now call 999 quoting ISR 30 of 2 March. Pls RT.”
The Government website states that there are a number of alternative organisations for reporting a missing person.
These include Missing Persons Unit, Missing People, Missing Kids UK, and Look For Them.
It continues: “If the police find a person aged under 18, their parents or guardians will usually be told their whereabouts unless police believe the child’s safety is at risk.
“If the person is aged over 18, the police will not pass on their whereabouts without their permission. If you spot a missing person contact the police.
“If you want to remain anonymous, you can contact Missing People to report the sighting .”
