London commuters found themselves doing a double-take after spotting a fake wall in Victoria Station they didn’t realise was there before. The false wall, draped just above the station’s toilets, looks almost indistinguishable from the genuine brick on either side of it.
But on a London Reddit forum, where users post photos of oddities around the capital, users were awestruck by the fake wall, which even includes illustrated windows. One Redditor even joked that the sniper from a Jason Bourne film could be hiding in there.

One user commented: “I’ve never even really thought about the fact that there are buildings in the building.
Another said: “Before the pandemic, I walked past this twice a day every day for two years and it never occurred to me that there were buildings inside a building.”
A third joked: “That’s where the sniper in Bourne Ultimatum hides.”

Commuters were simply dumbfounded by the false wall, which they had never noticed despite standing mere feet away from it.
One user said: “Never noticed and I’ve even eaten at that Wasabi place.”
Another commented: “They weren’t going to tell you the real station that takes you to Hogwarts now were they?”
A third added: “Is this new? I used to work in the Nero directly opposite those toilets and I never noticed a thing.”
