A teenager has ended up in hospital after he was attacked by a group of 10 men.
The incident happened on London Road in Bedford at around 6pm on Thursday evening.
The boy had been walking with a friend when a group of young men approached.

He was then knocked to the floor, kicked, and stamped on before the group made off and left him needing hospital treatment.
Officers have arrested four people in connection with the incident so far and enquiries continue as they try to identify and locate those involved.

Detective Sergeant Karl Heywood described the incident as “really violent”.
He said: “This was a really violent incident involving a large group of 10 setting upon just one individual.
“The attack took place at a busy time of day and it is likely that people in the area could have seen this incident or the offenders as they made off.
“I would urge anyone with information to get in touch right away.”
The offenders have been described as wearing grey and black clothing, hooded tops, and dark and white trainers.
Investigators from Bedfordshire Police have appealed to the public for information and said anybody with information should contact officers online or by calling 101 and quoting reference 40/10985/22.
