Man in 20s suffers ‘life-changing’ wounds after brutal attack saw him stabbed in the face

A man in his early 20s has received “life changing injuries” after being stabbed in the face in a violent attack in Tower Hamlets. Police were called at 7:24pm last night (Thursday, 24 February) to Cornwall Street, Limehouse, following reports of an attack.

When police arrived at the scene, the victim was found with slash injuries – to his face and abdomen. He was rushed to hospital where doctors determined his injuries are ‘life-changing’, the Met Police has told.

The identity of the victim hasn’t been released and there are yet to be any arrests but enquiries are ongoing.

It’s not the first stabbing in the area in the last six months – November saw a 24-year-old man on St Anne’s Row.
