Woman punched and kicked in the face on London Underground in violent robbery

A woman was punched and kicked in the face in a violent robbery at East Acton station. Police officers were called to the London Underground station at 3.30pm on Wednesday, February 9, due to a disturbance.

A man and a woman approached another woman before the man grabbed her bag. The victim tried to get her bag back, but the woman he was with pulled the victim off the train.

She shouted at her and hit her in the face, before pushing her to the platform floor and punching and kicking her in the face.

The man stole the victim’s phone before he and the woman fled the station.

British Transport Police officers have released CCTV images in connection with the incident.

Officers believe the people in the CCTV images may have information that could help their investigation.
