Matt has a long career portfolio in broadcast television and has been with ITV since 1997.

Just two months ago, the journalist was announced as the new co-presenter of ITV Meridian to replace Fred Dinenage.

Matt was born on 7 March 1975, making him 46-years-old.

The 46-year-old is estimated to have an approximate net worth of around $1.1 million, according to NetWorthPost.

This is the equivalent of over £810,000.

Matt’s net worth is thanks to his successful career and history as a television presenter.

Many might not know, but he is an award-winning producer and director of documentaries, programmes and news features.

He also works freelance for British Forces Broadcasting Service, Sky News, and occasionally presents bulletins for ITV News and ITV News London.

In the mid-90s, Matt graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

He began his career at ITV’s East Midlands news before working for their Regional Programmes Department and spent ten years in the role.

A few years later, in 2005, Matt became a reporter alongside Sarah Jane Mee where they covered sports news on Central Tonight.

In 2007, he then became a presenter at Setanta Sports News alongside Rachel Brookes.

He also presented specialist programmes for Setanta Sports.

In August 2009, it was announced that Matt would replace Alastair Stewart as a co-presenter on London Tonight, alongside Katie Derham and Nina Hossain.

He joined in 2009 and soon became the main co-presenter a few months later.

In February 2012, Matt re-joined ITV News Central, alongside Sameena Ali-Khan.

Since December 2021, he works alongside various presenters on ITV Meridian.
