The south east London pubs missed the most

We all long for that much-needed drink in our favourite pub once in a while – or far more often than that in some cases.

And, there’s nothing worse than that favourite pub to close down when you’ve found that happy place.

We asked News Shopper readers which pub they would have a drink in if they could choose one that no longer exists.

And, from right across the boroughs – they are a number of pubs that clearly have been loved and have been lost.

Here are some of the most popular:

Scruffy Murphy’s, Bromley

Walnut Tree, Dartford

The Black Horse, Sidcup

The Bun House, Peckham

The Woodman, Charlton

The Royal Albert, St Mary Cray

Plume of Feathers, Plumstead

The Bell, Bromley

Rat and Parrot, Bexleyheath

The Harrow, Erith

Lord Kitchener, Welling

Coach and Horses, Dartford

Jolly Drayman, Bexleyheath

Fox and Hounds, Chislehurst

The Castle, Eltham

The White Swan, Greenwich
