Some residents in south London were in the dark for several hours Friday afternoon.
According to London Hydro, electricity went out in the Westminster area sometime around 2 p.m. Over 160 customers neighbouring Adelaide Street between Southdale Road East and Wilton Grove Road were affected by the outage.
Crews were later seen at the intersection of Adelaide Street and Bradley Avenue repairing a damaged hydro pole.
At around 5 p.m., London Hydro reported another outage affecting over 1,100 customers in the Westmount area between just south of Commissioners Road West and Bradley Avenue.
No other details on what caused the outages have been provided however, the region remains under a winter weather advisory as a heavy mix of snow and rain continues to fall across the city making conditions hazardous. Wind gusts of up 50 kilometres per hour from the south have also been reported.
Services were restored for all areas by 6 p.m.
