The games are coming thick and fast for Cardiff City, who return to action this afternoon against Millwall at The Den.
This is City’s third game in seven days, but Steve Morison returns to his former employers on the back of a real high following Wednesday’s hammering of Peterborough United.
The Bluebirds ran riot at the Cardiff City Stadium, netting four goals to put the hapless visitors to the sword, earning their third consecutive league win in the process.
Cardiff’s safety isn’t yet guaranteed, but there is certainly a real feelgood factor in the Welsh capital as they head to south London.
Even so, a trip to The Den is always a daunting prospect, with the Lions losing just one of their last eight outings at home.
The Bluebirds can surely expect a typically hostile atmosphere this afternoon, but having spent a total of seven years here as a player, Cardiff boss Morison will surely know exactly what it will take to leave with all three points.
