A hitman at the centre of a bloody “tit-for-tat” feud between international drug gangs shot dead a rival in front of his wife and child in an upmarket London neighbourhood.

Anis Hemissi, a former professional kickboxer, faces life in jail after shooting Flamur Beqiri, 36, eight times in Battersea, west London, on Christmas Eve in 2019.

Hemissi, 24, travelled to London and posed as a street cleaner, disguising himself further with a latex mask, sunglasses, high-vis work clothes, a litter picker and black bin bag as he reconnoitred the area around his target’s home in a meticulously planned murder.

He had told the jury that his trip to the UK was to watch “Netflix and chill” with a woman he had met online.
