ITV The Masked Singer: Fans convinced they have Panda, Mushroom and Robobunny nailed down before final

The Masked Singer final is upon us – and one celebrity will be crowned the champion tonight. Robobunny, Panda and Mushroom will battle it out in order to win over the studio audience, while the judges continue to guess who is behind each of the three costumes.

Joel Dommett will host the grand final as the three remaining incognito celebrities compete to be crowned the ultimate champion, with last year’s winner Joss Stone joining panellists Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan. The identities of all three finalists will be revealed, while all 12 singers reunite for a special group performance and three previous competitors return for a trio of one-of-a-kind duets

Over the past few weeks, Aled Jones was unmasked as Traffic Cone, Michelle Williams as Rockhopper, Firework was actress Jaime Winstone, while Doughnuts was unveiled as football legend Michael Owen. Poodle was Keane frontman Tom Chaplin, and Bagpipes was Pat Cash.

As always with The Masked Singer, the rumour mill has been turning and viewers up and down the country have taken it upon themselves to guess the identity of the celebrities in disguise. One wild theory is that Amanda Holden is Panda. The actress, 50, is known to have a decent voice after releasing her debut album in 2020, the Mirror reports.

Could it be Amanda ‘the Panda’ Holden underneath the mask?

Fans noticed she apparently had a huge animal costume in the back of her car when she was hanging around Central London on Monday, and clues surrounding the character have included the fact that they have “treaded the boards” in different lives – which could point to her varied career.

Some fans believe that Charlotte Church is Mushroom after ITV rescheduled an episode of Kate Garraway’s Life Stories. Charlotte is rumoured to be one of its guests and fans think she is taking part in the competition. Good Morning Britain presenter Kate, 54, had been due to interview Charlotte on Thursday’s show. However, the channel announced that the episodes will be switched around due to production delays.

Viewers are convinced that Robobunny appeared on Top Gear after looking over some of the clues – with Paddy McGuinness, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson all being mentioned.

Robobunny left a clue, telling viewers: “I might be made of metal but that doesn’t stop me making a splash.” One person wrote on Twitter: “I think Robobunny is Richard Hammond.” A second added: “Vernon Kay presented Splash right??? Cars & Splash – Richard Hammond?”

However other viewers think it’s a professional singer with theories including Blue member Lee Ryan, 38, Steps ‘ Ian ‘H’ Watkins, 45, and Westlife member Mark Feehily, 41.

The identities of all three celebrities will be unveiled tonight. The Masked Singer airs on ITV at 7pm.
