A murder investigation has been launched after a man in his 20s was stabbed to death in South London. Emergency services were called to the scene in Eltham where they found the victim suffering from stab wounds.
Police were first called to reports of the stabbing on Lionel Road just off Westhorne Avenue at 5.11pm on Tuesday February 8.
He was rushed to an East London hospital but died a shortly afterwards. So far no arrests have been made but a cordon has been set up.
Footage taken at the scene shows a number of emergency vehicles parked across the main Westhorne Avenue, outside Lionel Road Community Hall.
