The A124 Longbridge Road in Dagenham has been closed westbound due to a road traffic collision.
The incident was first reported on the traffic monitoring website Inrix at 11.15pm on Sunday night (February 6).
The incident affects a stretch of road between Lodge Avenue and B177 Goodmayes Lane, and is affecting traffic heading into Barking.
Diversions are in place for bus routes 5, 145 and EL2, as well as Night Bus N15.
Inrix said: “A124 Longbridge Road Westbound closed, slow traffic due to accident between Lodge Avenue and B177 Goodmayes Lane. Affecting traffic heading into Barking. Diversion – for bus routes 5, 145 and EL2, as well as Night Bus N15.”
There were no details immediately available on the nature of the collision, or whether there have been any resulting injuries.
