The A316 Chiswick Lane is closed in both directions at Hogarth roundabout due to a police incident.
According to traffic service Inrix, traffic in the area is currently coping well despite the incident.
The closure is causing a diversion for the number 19 bus route.
An Inrix update at 12.22am on Sunday morning said: “A316 Chiswick Lane in both directions closed due to police incident from A4 Great West Road (Hogarth Roundabout) to Chiswick Lane.
“Traffic is coping well. Diversion – for bus route 19.”
Police are yet to comment on the nature of the incident which has led to the road being closed.
