Police issue urgent appeal for missing Hitchin woman

Hertfordshire Police have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of missing Hitchin woman, Marie-Claire.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and believe she could have travelled to central London.

Marie-Claire is 39 years old, and described as being around 5ft 9in tall, of slim build, with dark brown curly hair and wears glasses.

She was last seen wearing a dark coloured jacket with a fur hood, dark jeans and white ankle boots, police said.

Police request that anyone who is with Marie-Claire or who has seen her recently to dial 999 immediately.

Alternatively, if you have any information that could lead to locating her call 101 quoting the reference number 289 of February 4.
