Londoners outraged after ‘shocked’ man spends £51 for 6 shots of Sourz at popular Soho nightclub

Londoners are fuming after it emerged one party goer paid an obscene amount for a round of shots in a Central London bar.

A viral TikTok has shown how one group of pals blasted £51 on just six shots of Sourz – making them an average price of £8.50 a serving.

At just 15 per cent strength, Sourz is around one-third of the alcohol content of other types of liquor like tequila, sambuca and Jagermeister.

TikTok user trippybartender, who has 2,665 followers on the video-sharing platform, captioned the video of his experience saying: “He just paid £51 for six shots of Sourz at Zoo bar.”

Although London is notoriously expensive for nightlife compared to other parts of the country, people were furious at the “extortionate” prices of the shots.

One said: “£51? Is that a joke?”

A second added: “Sums up London clubs.”

A third chimed in: “It would legit be cheaper to buy six bottles.”

A fourth joked: “Clubs are just a social experiment to see how much humanity can be tortured.”

As one of London’s most famous bars situated in Soho close to Leicester Square Tube station, the chic Central London hot spot boasts two floors with three rooms and four bars playing a wide variety of music.
