Police on scene in Hall Place after reports of a stabbing

A 20-year-old man has been treated at the scene of a stabbing at City of Westminster College, London with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Police have made no arrests at this time as officers continue the hunt.

Officers were called to the scene in Hall Place after 17.20pm this evening to reports of a stabbing.

Following the incident, a Section 60 Order covering the Boroughs of Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea has been authorised.

This means officers can stop and search anyone within this area without reasonable grounds.

Several police cars remain at the scene in central London and three of the roads near the college have been shut.

Sniffer dogs were also reported in the area.

A video on Snapchat appears to show the scene inside the college, where a young man is receiving medical attention.

People with information are asked to call 101, with the reference: CAD 5342/27 Jan.
