Kane future hint

After last summer’s saga, Harry Kane is likely to remain a name linked with a transfer.

His silverware hopes are still looking slim at Spurs, but in an interview yesterday he hinted he may stay put as he sees things moving in the right direction in north London.

In an interview with Sky Sports ahead of their defeat to Chelsea yesterday, the England striker outlined his desire to see the club take a “big opportunity” under Antonio Conte.

“He’s one of the best managers in the world,” Kane said.

“We’ve not really reached the heights we’ve wanted to as a club over the last few years. It’s a big opportunity now as a club to take advantage of what we’ve got. He’s a manager who demands a lot and I’m sure he’s had conversations about getting players who he wants here.

“That’s down to the chairman and him. We need to take advantage of having one of the best managers in the world. As players we’ve responded really well to him and everyone’s working as hard as possible to get success and that’s the ultimate goal for everyone here.”
