On August 16, 2021, police and London Ambulance Service paramedics attended the scene at 7am where a man was found unresponsive.

They found Mr Kankanamalage, who was from Tower Hamlets, with a head injury.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and a post mortem determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the head.

Feld will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on January 22.

Criminal proceedings are now active and it is extremely important that there is no reporting, commentary or sharing of information which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.
