Hendon stabbing live: Updates after boy, 15, rushed to hospital after knife attack

A schoolboy has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing in North London.

Police rushed to Brent Street, Hendon, at around 2.45pm this afternoon (Thursday, January 20) and found the boy, aged 15 with stab wounds.

Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance also arrived and took the boy to hospital.

Police have confirmed he is not in a life-threatening condition.

A crime scene remains in place. This is the second incident that’s occurred in the area in one week.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed they had treated the boy at the scene and taken him to hospital “as a priority”.

A spokesperson added: “We were called at 2.34pm today (20 January) to reports of an incident on Brent Street, NW4.

“We sent an ambulance crew, a medic in a car, and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a teenager at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
