London crime: 4 people stabbed in horrific weekend of violence in the capital

London has seen a horrific weekend of violence with four people stabbed on the capital’s streets.

Among the victims were two 17-year-old boys in separate incidents, as well as a man and woman at a residential address.

Police were called to separate incidents in Haringey, Barnet and Brent over the weekend, including a man and woman stabbed at the same address in Harlesden. Here’s an overview of the three attacks.

Double stabbing in Harlesden, Brent

A man and woman were stabbed at a home in Harlesden, West London. Police rushed to the scene just before 10.40am on Sunday (January 16) following reports of a stabbing.

Officers descended on a home on Craven Park Road, where they found the injured victims.

Police confirmed that the man suffered a stab wound to the back and the woman had a knife injury to her arm.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) took the victims to North London hospitals.it was later confirmed that the man and woman’s conditions are not life threatening.

Teenager stabbed in Hendon, Barnet

A 17-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in broad daylight in Hendon, on Saturday January 15 at around 2.35pm.

Police confirmed the teenager was taken to hospital after a stabbing on Brent Street.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) paramedics also rushed to the scene after the stabbing, which happened in the afternoon.

The teenager was taken to a major trauma centre at a central London hospital, and police await an update on his condition.

17-year-old stabbed in Turnpike Lane, Haringey

Another 17-year-old boy who was stabbed in Haringey has been left with life-changing injuries.

The Metropolitan Police were called to Sydney Road just after 6.42pm on Saturday (January 15) after they received reports of the knife attack.

When officers arrived at the scene they found the teenager with stab wounds and in need of medical help.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) also attended the emergency incident and rushed the boy to hospital.

In a statement from the Met, a spokesperson said: “Police were called at 6.42pm on Saturday, 15 January to reports of a stabbing in Sydney Road, N8.

“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a 17-year-old boy with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.”
