Double stabbing at North London home as man and woman knifed and armed police on scene

A man and a woman have been rushed to hospital after both being stabbed at a home in North London.

The Met Police rushed to the emergency after just before 10.40am on Sunday (January 16) when they received reports of a stabbing.

Responding officers descended on a home on Craven Park Road, Harlesden in Brent where they found the injured victims.

Police confirmed that the man suffered a stab wound to the back and the woman had a knife injury to her arm.

Working alongside police were a team from London Ambulance Service (LAS) who took the victims to North London hospitals.

The Met Police subsequently affirmed that the man and woman’s conditions are not life threatening.

It is understood that a police cordon was in place on Craven Park Road in the morning and the early part of this afternoon but has since been removed.

Detectives are now making enquiries into the circumstances around the grizzly episode.

In a statement from the Met Police, a spokesperson said: “Police were called at 10.39am to reports of a stabbing at a residential address in Craven Park Road. NW10.

“At the scene a woman had suffered a knife wound to the arm and a man had suffered a stab wound to the back.

“Both were taken to north London hospitals where their conditions are not life threatening.”
