A man has been left fighting for his life after being stabbed at a property in East London.
Police rushed to an address on Haydon Road, Dagenham, after the incident at around 8.20am on January 9.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as life threatening.
As he fought for his life, police arrested a 32-year-old in connection with the incident.

According to the police the two men are thought to have known each other.
Haydon Road is a quiet back street not far from Goodmayes Park.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “We’ve arrested a 32-year-old man after a stabbing at around 8.20am [on January 9] at an address in Haydon Rd, Dagenham. The victim, aged in his 30s, has been taken to hospital in a critical condition
“Enquiries ongoing to establish circumstances. Both males are thought to have been known to each other.”
This was the third serious stabbing reported in London this weekend, with a man in his 20s left fighting for his life after being stabbed on Beulah Road, Croydon.
Three men have been rushed to hospital with stab injuries following a fight that broke out in the Kensington High Street area shortly before 5am on January 9.
