Metropolitan Police in east London have arrested two men on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs after seizing 47 wraps whilst out on patrol in the Tower Hamlets area on Friday night.
Officers from the Met Police-run Partnership Task Force exercised stop and search powers to question two males. They found a bag of small black and white sachets wrapped up like sweets.
The men have been remanded in custody and the police investigation is ongoing, officers said.
Police tweeted late on Friday night: “#PartnershipTaskForce have arrested two males for drug supply offences in the E2 area. Stop and search powers were used and 47 wraps of suspected class A recovered. Investigation ongoing.”
