There are few things like a White Christmas in London, with a dusting of snow pretty much turning our city into a scene out of a Dicken’s novel.
But in recent years the chance of snow over the holiday season seems to be getting less and less.
We can still hope though and that optimism looks like it may pay off.

Snow is predicted within the next three weeks.
Unfortunately it won’t be over Chrismas but instead in the opening weeks of the new year.
Weather forecaster Accuweather is predicting two days of snow on January 5 and January 8.
The first snowey day will be a mix of snow and rain. Temperatures will be highs of 6C and lows of 1C so settling isn’t likely.
The second will be similiar with “a bit of snow and rain at times in the morning”. Temperaturs will be highs of 8C and again lows of 1C.
So only the thickest snow will settle.
