Record-breaking infection rates across the UK have caused more than 30 countries to temporarily ban Brits from entering the country – regardless of vaccination status.
A surge of the Omicron variant in recent weeks has resulted in countries such as Germany and France closing their borders from UK tourists to curb the spread of coronavirus.
However, three countries in the Americas are still allowing UK citizens to fly in without any proof of a Covid vaccination, with flights going directly or indirectly from Heathrow and Gatwick airport, SurreyLive reports.

Anyone entering the Central American country without a vaccination or anyone under 18 must have proof of travel insurance.
Travel insurance must cover a minimum of five days in case of any medical or quarantine costs as a result of Covid.
Those who are vaccinated do not require travel insurance though any vaccinated traveller must have had their last dose at least 14 days before entering the country.
All travellers must complete a health form at least 72 hours before arrival and vaccinated travellers must attach their vaccination proof to this form.
Brits do not need to provide vaccine proof or a negative Covid test result in order to enter El Salvador.

However, the UK government advises Brits to bring any vaccine proof with them as some events in El Salvador may ask them to provide evidence.

All travellers must register on the Mexico Vuela Seguro Platform before boarding a flight to the country and must show the QR code once they enter the airport.
Anyone entering is also required fill out a health survey upon arrival.
