The A5 Cricklewood Broadway has been closed in both directions due to a police incident from Gladstone Park Gardens to Temple Road.
The incident occurred at around 1.45am (December 22) and it is not yet known when the road will be reopened.
The nature of the closure is also not known at this time, along with whether anyone was injured in the incident.
However, the road is a busy commuter route and the authorities will be hoping the incident is cleared in time for the anticipated morning build-up of traffic in the area.
Traffic reporting service Inrix posted at 2.19am: “A5 Cricklewood Broadway in both directions closed due to police incident from Gladstone Park Gardens to Temple Road.
“The road has been closed since around 01:45 Wednesday morning.
“Diversion – 12 bus routes affected.”
