Presenter Nick Knowles, 59, has shared some exciting news about his return to DIY SOS.
The familiar face has been absent from the BBC show which has recently been hosted by comedian Rhod Gilbert.
However, the star has let his eager fans know that he is due to make a comeback in the new year.
He also made an urgent request which has a timelimit.

Taking to Twitter, Nick posts a video of himself saying: “Hello, Nick Knowles here. I wanted to announce DIY SOS is back in 2022, so how would you like to join in?
“Our first build is in January in Kettering so please get in touch to attend trades day on Tuesday, December 14 by emailing [email protected]”
Adding: “We need suppliers on all three too, so if you think you might be able to help with anything we might need get in touch. And I’ll see you there!”
This news comes after Nick had to take away due to breaking one of the broadcaster’s rules.
Earlier this year, Nick appeared in an advert for cereal Shreddies dressed as a builder.
He was in hot water when the ad was released.
Under BBC editorial guidelines actors and artists are banned from appearing in promotional work “in a way which mimics or replicates their on-air roles for the BBC.”
However, the issue has clearly been resolved as both BBC and Nick published a joint statement to announce his return to his show.
