M25 traffic live: Multi-car crash sees miles of queues as fire engines rush to the scene

Traffic is being held at a standstill after multiple vehicles crashed near Junction 16 on the M25, in Denham, near Uxbridge.

The accident, first reported around 2.40pm this afternoon (December 19), is causing long queues of traffic in the area.

Two fire engines reportedly rushed to the scene, and it is currently unclear whether there were any injuries.

Inrix traffic monitoring website recorded the following: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to multi-vehicle accident on M25 clockwise from J16 (Denham Interchange) to J17 (Maple Cross).

“Congestion to halfway between J15 (M4 Interchange) and J16.

“All traffic held as of 14:40.

“Two fire engines are on scene attending the accident just before the railway bridge.”
