London’s Euston Station is facing huge overcrowding today as ‘multiple cancellations’ of trains leave passengers in the lurch.
Passengers waiting at the station due to delayed or cancelled trains have taken to social media to complain about the crowding.
Meanwhile, some people have reportedly faced multiple train cancellations.
The train operating company Avanti West Coast have apologised to at least one passenger who was facing a train delayed by 26 minutes.
Avanti West Coast said this was due to ‘a member of the train crew being unavailable’, although it is unclear at this point whether all the delays have come about as a result of train crew absences or sickness.
