Seven cars have been involved in a crash near Junction 1 on the M40 today (Saturday, December 18).
One lane is reportedly closed on the motorway M40 southbound between Junction 1A and Junction 1 in Denham following the crash.
The collision and closure were first reported at around 12.15pm and queues of traffic have ensued.
According to traffic monitoring company Inrix, one of the cars needed to be extinguished following the collision.
The Inrix website reads: “One lane blocked and queueing traffic due to accident, seven cars involved on M40 Western Avenue Southbound between J1A (Denham Interchange) and J1 (Denham Roundabout).
“Lane one (of three) is blocked.”
