Claire put in an application to overhaul the ‘dilapidated state of the existing roof extension and terraces’ in February last year.
Neighbours supported the proposed works, branding the prior terrace an ‘eyesore’, and the actress was granted permission in June.
Construction work, which could have totalled £250,000, started in March.
Experts predict Claire could have spent an additional £20,000 on an architect to design the project and £25,000 on a site manager to ensure operations ran smoothly.

Pricey: She returned home last month having splashed out almost £40,000 for her nine month stay
It is likely she would have had to fork out around £30,000 on scaffolding to enable to work to be completed.
The star moved into a two bedroom flat nearby, with monthly rent close to £4,000, while work was completed.

The top floor consisted of a small kitchen tucked in the eaves of the living area.

But this has now been replaced by an open plan space featuring a large island and floor to ceiling cupboards.
If the design has replicated drawings submitted to planners it could have set the actress back up to £100,000 thanks to the use of marble.
A window seat now looks out onto the small refurbished balcony decorated with plants.
The dormer has been moved back from the road and centralised with a decking laid on the roof terrace which features two new skylights, while natural slate tiles have been laid to match the existing ones.

Claire, who has a six-year-old daughter, has also installed a steel black balustrade to provide extra safety on the balcony and terrace.
One neighbour wrote: ‘I as Neighbour totally support this application. It will tidy up a very untidy roof terrace with ugly railing which has been in existence for a long time.
‘As it will give a better living environment for the resident… All neighbours support the tidying up of this eyesore.’
The flat, part of a semi-detached Victorian townhouse, has a study and bedroom on the first floor as well as a bathroom, two further bedrooms, including a large master bedroom, and a spacious living area on the second floor.

The couple, who share daughter Ivy, ended their four-year marriage in 2018.
‘We have separated and have been for some time,’ they said. ‘We do however continue as great friends with the utmost respect for one another.’ The pair met while working on 2011 film Season of the Witch.
