Bailiffs got the wrong address and broke into our home | Money

My husband and I own a flat in Barnet, north London. When he came home early from work one day in July, he was approached by three bailiffs who said they were evicting him. The locks had already been changed and the locksmith was just leaving.

It turns out that the bailiffs had got the wrong address: they were supposed to change the locks in a flat in the building next door.

When the bailiffs realised their mistake they said sorry and gave my husband the new keys and left very quickly.

Our dog was inside and my husband was left in tears. If he had not come home from work early we would have been unable to enter our own flat. They basically broke
