Maura Higgins was rushed to hospital after inflicting a horrifying knife injury on herself in an accident.
The Love Island star told her fans on Instagram : “Ended up in A&E after slicing my finger to the bone… Happy f***ing Monday!!”
The 31-year-old Irish beauty, who rose to fame on the dating show in 2019, appeared to have shared a snap from the hospital, showing her feet in designer slippers as she sat waiting to be seen.
The reality star has just got back from her sensational-looking holiday to the Maldives, and is clearly missing it after her dramatic return home.
“Maldives I miss you,” she wrote as she shared a TikTok video filled with gorgeous scenes from her trip.

Maura was also forced to hit back at accusations that she’d Photoshopped her pictures to add sculpted abs.
She’d been enjoying a girls’ night out with bestie Molly-Mae Hague when some suggested she’d altered her picture to appear more ripped.
Fuming Maura hit back by sharing a video that showed her swiping through the photos from her night out at London’s Restaurant Ours.
She opened her camera roll to prove the snaps in there were exactly the same as the ones on her Instagram feed and that no changes had been made to them.

She captioned the video: “Nahhh my dms are full… ‘too much photoshop’ proud to say no hunnys this is me & my raw camera roll from last night.
“Just brightened and sharpened… Sue me”.
She followed it up with a cryptic quote which read: “You can always tell who the strong women are.
“They are the ones you see building one another up, instead of tearing each other down”.
Backing her up, Molly commented: “No I’m obsessed. Can’t wait to steal this outfit x bye”.
While fellow Islander Francesca Allen wrote: “ABSSSS ON IT”.

The dancer has since spoken out to insist he did nothing wrong to cause the break up.
Giovanni, who had made it to the semi-finals of the show with EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis, said: “Hey guys – I hope everyone had a great Monday.
“Going into another wonderful training week – thank you so much for your amazing messages and you support this weekend. I get to live my dream every single day because of you – so thank you, thank you, thank you.
“I just wanted to say a couple of things..
“Firstly, great relationships with great people can come to a natural end. This has been the case for me recently/ There was absolutely no wrong-doing & this should be the end of any speculation.”
It had been reported that he’d been spotted on celebrity dating app Raya while he was still with Maura.
