Concern for Antonio Conte as Tottenham suffer Sergio Reguilon injury blow

Antonio Conte will be anxious to find out the extent of an injury to first-choice left wing-back Sergio Reguilon after the Spaniard was forced off injured in Tottenham’s game against Norwich City.

However, after making a few runs and being involved in a number of tackles, the 24-year-old pulled up on the pitch and had to be replaced.

That gave Ryan Sessegnon the opportunity to stake his claim for a place in Conte’s starting lineup in the coming weeks, after a disappointing showing in his first appearance under the Italian.

Sessegnon was sent off in the Europa Conference League clash with Dutch side Vitesse last month and will be hoping to impress his manager now.

Tottenham took the lead in the game in north London thanks to a superb Lucas Moura strike. The Brazilian traded passes with Son Heung-min on the edge of the box and getting the ball out of his feet, surrounded by players, he leathered an unstoppable effort into the top corner.

Spurs held that lead into half-time.
