A person has died after being hit by a train outside Harrow and Wealdstone Station.
Emergency services were called to the station at 10.12pm yesterday evening (December 2), to reports of an injury on the tracks.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was rushed to hospital for treatment.

Trains have faced heavy disruption this morning while emergency services remain at the scene.
National Rail is advising travellers that “Wembley Central or Harrow and Wealdstone, in the direction of Watford Junction, until further notice” and that disruption is expected to continue until 12pm.
Travellers are instead to “carry on through to Watford Junction and catch a return service.”
A statement posted to the London Euston Twitter account at 2.40am today (December 3) reads: “Emergency services have mostly completed their job on the railway. Trains are able to move on some lines through.”

At 5.15am, Southern Rail tweeted: “Due to emergency services dealing with an incident, we are unable to stop at Wembley Central and Harrow & Wealdstone in the direction of Watford Junction/Milton Keynes Central.”
A statement posted to Twitter by Euston reads: “One line remains closed due to the incident yesterday.
“Journeys between Euston and Watford Jn may be delayed. We’re really sorry for the disruption to your journey. Thank you for your patience. Be safe. Be patient. Be kind.”
In a statement posted to Twitter, Southern Rail announced several updates.
A spokesperson said: “Our northbound trains travelling towards Watford Junction / Milton Keynes Central will not stop at Wembley Central, Harrow & Wealdstone, Hemel Hempstead.”
A LAS spokesperson said: “We were called at 10:12pm yesterday evening (2 December) to reports of a person injured by a train near Harrow and Wealdstone Station, Harrow.
“We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, an advanced paramedic, and a medic in car. We also dispatched our hazardous area response team and London’s Air Ambulance.
“Sadly, despite best efforts, a person died at the scene. We treated a second person and took them to hospital.”
