Giovanni’s love life has been the subject of speculation since his split from Maura Higgins, but the star has confirmed that he is happily single.

Taking to Instagram, the dancer, 31, addressed the rumours.

He said: “Happy Sunday beautiful people.

“Always wanting to speak the truth over here.

“It’s news to me that I’m dating, didn’t know anything about it!

“As you know at the moment it’s all about dance dance dance which is wonderful darling.

“That’s the reality, there’s no drama here.”

Giovanni shut down the rumours

The revelation comes after fans were concerned for Rose’s place in the competition after criticising an “odd” choice during her dance this week.

Her and Giovanni performed a Pasodoble but while fans loved the dance, they didn’t agree with the music choice at all.

While most of the judges praised the performance, Craig said it was “stiff”.
