BBC Strictly Come Dancing: Latest odds suggest winner is already decided

Strictly Come Dancing’s final is almost a month away – but, if the latest odds are anything to go by, we could already know who’s going to win.

The grand finale will air on the BBC on December 18 and usually three dance couples compete for that sought-after end prize. This means that, with only six dance duos remaining after Tom Fletcher and Amy Dowden were voted off on Saturday, only three more will be knocked out before then.

But the most recent odds seem to suggest that we don’t need to wait that long to find out who will be taking the Strictly crown.

The partners performed a quickstep and danced themselves into this Saturday’s show

Currently, Rose-Ayling Ellis is storming ahead, with 2/9 odds. John Whaite and AJ Odudu follow not so closely behind at 10/1. Then comes Rhys Stephenson with 80/1 and Tilly Ramsay at 60/1.

Rose is partnered with Giovanni Pernice, and the pair have really stolen the hearts of viewers.

Most recently, the duo danced a quickstep to Love Is an Open Door from Frozen the Musical.

But the Saturday before was a particularly memorable performance – one that left the audience and home viewers as well as Giovanni himself in tears.

The pair chose a moving Couple’s Choice to Zara Larsson’s song Symphony that paid respect to and raised awareness for members of the deaf community in a Strictly first. The music during their performance was cut and the pair continued to dance in silence.
