Police hunt man who ‘punched 2 people in the face’ while they were walking home from work

Police are urgently hunting a man who punched two members of the public in the face in the City of London.

The first victim was walking home from work through Fen Court at around 3.25pm on Thursday last week (November 4) when the suspect approached him and launched an unprovoked attack.

A second victim was attacked on Mincing Lane at around 3.40pm that same day, after which the suspect made off in the direction of Plantation Lane, Rood Lane, and East Cheap.

Both victims were left with facial injuries and were ‘shaken’ by the attacks.

“The man is described as a white male, in his twenties, of medium build with scruffy brown hair, approximately 5 foot 6 or 7.

“If anyone has any information, or recognises the man, please contact City of London Police, quoting crime reference 21*642966.”
