The family of I’m A Celebrity contestant Naughty Boy have shared the heartbreaking reason why he feels so overwhelmed.
The music producer, whose real name is Shahid Khan, threatened to leave the show after being picked by contestants to take part in an underground trial.
The Treacherous Traps trial, alongside Snoochie Shy, was his second trial in one day.

After losing twice, he said he could not go on in the show when the two camps merged.
He told his fellow campmates in Clink Camp: “I don’t think I will be going to Main Camp, I can’t continue and my heart’s not in anymore, I’m led by my heart.”

His threat was criticised on social media, but his family have admitted the real reason why he is struggling.
When a Twitter user pointed out they were not comfortable with some viewers’ reactions, Naughty Boy’s family, who are running his social media accounts while he is in the Welsh castle, said: “If only everyone knew what he’s battling on the outside world.
“His mum (my nan) is battling dementia and he has been taking care of her for the last 5 years. This is the first time he has left her to do something life-changing! He is just overwhelmed and he will be fine.”

There was a lot of support after the post went public.
One said: “It’s horrible to feel like you’re letting people down, not good enough and that there are people who have a vendetta against you.
“With other stuff going on in personal life then you will reach breaking point. Hope he realises that those who support him are proud of him.”
And another said: “I’m so sorry to hear about his Mum, Dementia is horrible and that must be such a hard situation for him to deal with on a daily basis.
“My wife’s Nan has dementia so I know how difficult it can be. He is doing amazing!”
And it seems that Naughty Boy and Arlene Phillips, who has also been threatening to quit, have remained in the contest.
