A thief was filmed using an angle grinder to cut a bike lock in East London on Saturday night (November 20).
Footage seen by MyLondon shows a person wearing all black, including a balaclava, appearing to cut a bike lock on Roman Road in Tower Hamlets at around 10.30pm.
The video is filmed from a car, and shows sparks flying while the masked person uses the angle grinder.

The person filming then zooms in just as the thief turns around briefly before returning to their work.
At this point you can also clearly see that the thief is right next to a bike.
Police were alerted to the reported bike theft, but no arrests were made and there were no reports of a bike theft in the area at that time.
They said that they exhausted all current lines of enquiry and would investigate further if new information comes to light.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “On Friday, 19 November at 22:21hrs police were called to a report of a bike theft on Roman Road, Tower Hamlets.
“Officers attended and conducted enquiries; no arrests were made.

“No victim has been identified and we have received no reports of a bike theft from the area around that time.
“All current lines of enquiry have been investigated. Should any new information come to light further enquiries will be made.”
