Police have issued an urgent plea to find a Wormwood Scrubs prisoner who escaped after being moved to hospital.
The Metropolitan Police urged members of the public to “call 999 immediately” if they see Manray Woolfall, who was serving a sentence at the west London prison and fled custody on Friday. They warned the public not to approach him.
Woolfall had been moved to a west London mental health facility and was then transferred on to a central London hospital following a “suspected medical episode”, according to the Met.
He absconded from the hospital at 12.35pm and “was last seen at Chancellors Wharf, W6 [a housing complex near the Thames in Hammersmith] going in the direction of Hammersmith Bridge”, police added.
“He is believed to be wearing a grey T-shirt, green and black wind protector jumper, and grey bottoms rolled up to his knees with black thermal trousers underneath.
“He has two tattoos on his left arm and one on his right arm. He is of slim build with brown shoulder-length hair and a goatee.
“If seen, Manray should not be approached by members of the public; instead call 999, ref 6026926/21.”
