Live A2 traffic updates after ‘police chase’ leaves road closed in both directions near Sittingbourne

The A2 is closed in both directions near Sittingbourne after reports of a police chase.

Emergency services have been pictured at Keycole Roundabout at the junction with the A249.

Kent Police confirmed they are dealing with a police incident and asked drivers to use a different route.

Reports online suggested a car was on fire and armed police were in attendance but this has not been confirmed.
