A busy South London high street is closed following a collision between a lorry and a pedestrian, reports suggest.
The incident happened on Lewisham High Street shortly before 1.30pm on Tuesday (November 23).
The key road is closed both ways between Ladywell Road and Molesworth Street.
A picture taken of the scene shows a lorry within a police cordon and blue tarpaulin erected around an area on the road.
A witness who was at the scene said: “A21 Lewisham High Street currently closed near Morley road due to HGV driver collision with pedestrian. LAS, LFB and Met on scene.
“Thoughts and prayers with family and friends of victim.”
