Vauxhall Bridge live: Protest causes traffic chaos in South London for second day running

8

Protestors have descended on south London for the second day in a row.

Today’s march isn’t thought to be linked to yesterday’s (November 20) Insulate Britain protest and appears to be a demonstration against foreign intervention in Ethiopia.

Delays due to rolling road block and demonstration on Roads around Westminster and Vauxhall.

There is congestion to Vauxhall Bridge Road back over the bridge down to Victoria, along Grosvenor Road and over Chelsea Bridge, around the Vauxhall one-way system, Oval, and Nine Elms Lane.

The demo is now heading down Nine Elms Lane towards Battersea Power Station. Diversion – more than 10 bus services are now diverting.

The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for comment.
