This is the stunning girl two teenagers are believed to have fought over, resulting in one stabbing the other, MailOnline can reveal.

Anam Ausaf found herself at the centre of a suspected ‘love triangle’ dispute which resulted in a vicious altercation in a Sherbourne residential building on the Warwick University campus.

The first-year student, who is from North London, only started at the university seven weeks ago but was left in tears following the fight between the two men, aged 18 and 19.

Armed officers rushed to the scene on Wednesday afternoon and evacuated students living nearby as ambulance crews dealt with the injured man.

Naz Ausaf, a female relative of Anam’s told MailOnline: ‘We are all completely shocked. She’s got nothing to do with any of this, it was the boys. 

‘There is a lot of nonsense going around on social media which is being put out there by other students. They are all talking rubbish. A fight took place between two boys. It’s very distressing for us, this is not a joke.’

Eyewitnesses told MailOnline that the fight broke out between two boys vying for her attention.

One student who lives in Sherbourne block said: ‘We don’t know the exact details.

‘We heard a lot of screaming and there was blood everywhere. There are a lot of rumours flying around the campus about what this was all about.’ 

Warwickshire police said in a statement: ‘A man was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Coventry.

‘Police were called at 4.32pm yesterday (Wednesday 17 November) to reports that a man had been stabbed at a property in Scarman Road.

‘Officers attended and found a 19-year-old man with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

They said a man from Kings Langley, Hertfordshire and a woman have both been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Detective Inspector Cawail Wong from Warwickshire Police CID said: ‘This was a serious incident in which a young man has suffered stab wounds. I would appeal to anyone with information about it to contact police.’

Anyone with information in the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident 276 of 17 November 2021.

Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Warwick University posted on its Facebook page: ‘We’re aware of an incident at Sherbourne accommodation block.

‘Our community safety team is on hand & working with the emergency services. Alternative accommodation & food is being provided to students in the area.’
